With todays automated presses, polyester has become a viable alternative for high quality process color printing on 4-up presses. Automated plate mounting such as that found on the Hamada B series and Sakurai presses, precisely tensions plates minimizing plate stretch and allowing accurate registration.
The DPX 4 is fully automated - capable of producing 27 press ready 23" x 29.4" plates per hour at 2540dpi completely unattended. And, with a plate and chemistry cost of nearly half that of metal, the DPX 4 can give you a real competitive advantage over other ctp systems.
